PLEASE DISTRIBUTE THE ANNOUNCEMENT BELOW

The Midwest Invasive Plant Network (MIPN) hosting a two day symposium on invasive plants at the North Central Weed Science Society conference in Indianapolis on, Dec. 9-10 (at the downtown Hyatt regency).  The symposium will focus on invasive plants in natural areas and will include a plenary session, as well as concurrent sessions on a broad array of topics.  Registration for the Symposium only will be $150 for the full Symposium or just $100 for one day ($50 for Students) if people register before November 12th. Registration is now available online at http://ncwss.org/annual-meeting/ .

While many presentations are invited, limited space is available for volunteered papers. If you would like to present at the conference, titles must be submitted to the North Central Weed Science Society (NCWSS) by September 4th.  Please note this deadline is just for titles.  Abstracts will be due in November.  If your presentation is not selected you will be able to display a poster. We especially encourage graduate students to submit presentations.

To submit a title for a poster or presentation, visit http://wssaabstracts.com/user/home.php?m=login.  Though you will be submitting your title to NCWSS, if you select the invasive plant section your all presentations on invasive plants in natural areas will be included in the MIPN/IPAW symposium.
