Dear all,
In July, the
European Commission took an important step towards halting biodiversity loss by
adopting a list of invasive alien species of concern. The commission prepared
the list using risk assessments, stakeholders were consulted, the World Trade
Organization reviewed the list, and the list was submitted to the EU's Invasive
Alien Species Committee for approval. For more information on the process, go
