Maryland DNR's Statewide Eyes Program Launched

Hi,
I am holding training sessions for anyone who wants to ID, quantify and map invasive plants on ecologically significant Maryland state lands. There will be two training sessions in each region of the state this year. The training itself counts as Advanced Master Naturalist training, and the work counts as hours for Master Naturalists. Master Gardeners are more than welcome. Here is the press release that DNR sent out a couple weeks ago: http://news.maryland.gov/dnr/2016/04/26/statewide-eyes-program-calls-on-citizens-to-help-find-invasive-plants/  and here is the program website: http://dnr2.maryland.gov/wildlife/Pages/statewide_eyes.aspx.  Please spread the word and/or come join us. The workshops are free.
