- Southern California Coast/Small Scale: Seal
Beach National Wildlife Refuge. Highly urban area threatened by sea-level
rise and human impacts.
- North Bay Area and North Coast Ranges/Medium
Scale: Pepperwood Preserve and partners. Working across
jurisdictional boundaries to manage for climate change in a patchy
landscape.
- Klamath-Siskiyou Bioregion/Large Scale: Western
Klamath Restoration Partnership (WKRP). Large-scale restoration
to enhance resilience of forest and human communities.
- Sierra Nevada/Very Large Scale: Sierra
Cascades All-Lands Enhancement (SCALE), Sierra Nevada Conservancy
Watershed Improvement Program (WIP) and partners. Stitching together
multiple large-landscape efforts to make meaningful progress toward
ecosystem resilience and provision of ecosystem services.
