Invasive Species Awareness Week in King County

King County's Executive has proclaimed Feb 21-27 Invasive Species Awareness Week in King County in order to urge us all to help prevent the spread of invasive species and reduce their impact on our local flora and fauna. Read the press release to learn how everyone can help do their part.
With this proclamation, King County is joining the larger effort to raise awareness about invasive species known as National Invasive Species Awareness Week, which takes place in Washington DC from February 21-27, 2016.

While most of the meetings and events are being held in Washington DC, the National Association of Invasive Plant Councils will be hosting a series of free webinars that you can attend from the comfort of your own computer.
